I began my first online venture in 1997. Although just a few short years ago,
the rapid evolution of the Internet adds years. My first business grew from
what was originally just an idea, to what is now one of the most popular site's
on the Internet for its niche market.

In 1998, the site's success in the search engines led to a local ISP asking
if I would help market their client's web sites. This led to the start of my
second online business - search engine promotion. Within 2 months the site
was profitable.

Over the years I've spent thousands of hours online, researching and learning how to market and promote sites. In the process I discovered what works and what does not. My list of sites, tools and resources that were helpful grew to be huge and overwhelming. When people would ask me to share Internet marketing information & tips to help with their own sites (beyond just search engine marketing) it took me hours to find what I was looking for.

Hence the decision to create this site - TipsZone.com. Many business owners
are already overwhelmed with the day to day tasks of running their businesses
and don't have time to spend looking for what works best in the area of web site promotion, internet marketing, and online advertising.
